"I just wanted to thank you for putting together the Z56 program for us, I really enjoyed last Sunday's teachings.  My teacher was very nice and helpful when explaining everything to me.  You see, when we started going to Covenant I started having trouble in believing and stuff, and I've been having a hard time ever since.  I'm glad that we [came to Covenant] because it changed my life.  My teacher went into such detail with everything and I really liked the topic we did, which was "Where did God come from?"  that was like one of my biggest questions.  I just LOVE Z56!!!!!!"

Z56: Grades 5 and 6

The 5th and 6th graders have their own special class where they can engage with Scripture on a whole new level. They meet as a large group - then split into smaller groups so that they can grapple with important issues that young Christians face.  On the first Sunday of the month (Communion Sunday) they remain in the Worship Center to worship with the adults the entire time.

Service & Social events

We will return to Neshaminy Manor on Monday, February 20th to play games with the residents. This has been a rewarding event for both the elderly residents and our z56ers. We will meet at the church at 1:30pm, travel to the retirement home and return at 3:30. Please RSVP to Heather Thomas at z56@covenant-church.org so that transportation can be coordinated. Please indicate if you are able to assist with transportation.

Our social event will be a movie night on Friday, February 24th from 7:00-9:00. Bring your beach towel, we will be watching Soul Surfer (the inspirational true story of Bethany Hamilton). Parental permission required.
