Reach Out
Covenant's motto is "Building a Community . . . To Reach a Community". We take a broad view of community. We want to reach out to our neighbors right next door and to those around the world.
These are a few of the ways that we Reach Out to our community. We could use your help!
Frontline Partners
Fewer Missionaries, More Money, More Personal Care
Our desire is to know our supported missionaries personally, to support them generously, and to love them well in Jesus' name.
To realize this vision we have developed the concept of Frontline Partners; a missionary (a.) with whom we share a close, personal relationship, (b.) who connects us to a strategic opportunity to advance the gospel, and (c.) who offers us significant possibilities for participation in their mission. Our desire is to increase our financial support for these over the years to a level that represents our deep commitment to them in ministry. Additionally, we want to provide them with tender-loving care when they visit us and while they are on the mission field.
Frontlines Partners (Missionaries) - This select group of missionaries are those with whom we share a close, personal relationship; who connect us to a strategic opportunity to advance the Gospel, and who offer us significant possibilities for participation in their mission.
Beth Knapp leads in the translation of the Bible into various languages spoken in Central African Republic and Republic of Congo.
Bruce Finn (wife Debbie) recruits, places, trains, and coaches church planters in metro Philadelphia, south Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania.
Lindsay Kimball is a part of a church planting team in Vienna, Austria, a central and key city for reaching postmodern Europe.
Doug Logan (wife Angel) is preparing to plant an urban, intercity church, Epiphany Camden, in New Jersey.
Bud Jackson (wife Mandy) supports churches and church planting in Zimbabwe, helping them serve poor, AIDS-stricken people.
Missions Hospitality
When missionaries visit Covenant's Community, we want to make them feel welcome and at home. This team works to care for our visiting missionaries by arranging housing and meals.
Meal Ministry
One vital way to support one another in our community is by physically providing for immediate needs. We make meals to comfort a family who has lost a loved one, to help exhausted parents who have recently welcomed a new child into their family, and when a family member is ill and the family needs help. Casa Hogar
Casa Hogar, Acapulco Children's Home, is a home where disadvantaged children can find love, security, food, shelter, and the hope of Jesus Christ. Covenant Church supports this ministry with service projects throughout the year and a short-term missions trip during the summer.
