Women's Ministry
Learning, Living & Laughing Together!
There are many ways to connect with other women at Covenant. There are regular Bible studies and outreach opportunities. Throughout the year we will also have special events with a specific focus. We invite you to review the different activities and get involved!
Monday Night Study
Monday Night: Study on Isaiah. "The Lord Saves". Taught by Jamie Stadler starting February 6th from 7:30-9 p.m. at Covenant Church. Do you have favorite scriptures that are found in Isaiah, gems that encourage you, but find most of the book a mystery? Are you new to the Word, the Old Testament in particular, and desire a better understanding of this prophetic book? There will be some homework preparation. We invite you to join us as we learn about this book that has been called the Romans of the Old Testament, and this prophet who said the Lord made his own name and sign: Isaiah, which means "The Lord Saves." Sign up by contacting Jamie.
Tuesday Morning Bible Study
Tuesday AM Study: The winter session starts on January 10th using Carol J. Ruvolo's book "No Other Gospel: Finding True Freedom in the Message of Galatians." In this study the author has given us an extremely usable guide to enable us to see the difference between a dangerous legalism and God's power of grace in Jesus Christ. Understanding Paul's teaching is as important today as it was then. This study runs from 9:15 – 11 am starting January 10, 2012. See registration form to register. Childcare is available. Led by the teaching team.

Thursday Morning Coffee Break
Our Coffee Break ministry is a warm, relaxed atmosphere that encourages participation, as the Bible is studied. The discussion is low key and non-threatening, allowing the Holy Spirit to work in the hearts of all who attend. The focus is always to point women to God through His Word. The four primary functions of Coffee Break are being together, caring together, doing together, and learning together. Coffee Break meets everyThursday (except the 1st of the month). Fellowship is from 10:00 AM-10:30 AM. The study is from 10:30- 11:30 AM . New Study starts Feb. 16th. "Women Who Found A Way" What can women living at the beginning of the twenty-first century learn from the lives of women who lived over two thousand years ago? The answer is "a lot" - because the women of today who make a conscious effort to live as God wants them to live struggle with the same basic concerns, needs, and problems that women have always dealt with. This study focuses on women in the Bible who found a way to deal with life’s most difficult issues and, in the process, found a way to honor God. Some even found the Way, Jesus Christ.

Stitching In His Name
Feel free to come to a meeting and stitch with us or participate at home and drop off completed items in our basket in the lobby. Donations of yarn are always welcome too!
